The College Council is meeting in Kamloops next week. Members and guests are invited to join staff and Council for an interactive Member Information Session on June 21 followed by a Guided Field Trip to the Lac du Bois Grasslands on June 23.   1. Saturday June 23rd 8:30pm – 12:30pm:  Guided field trip to Lac du Bois Grasslands Protected Areas. $20 per person or $10 for students (includes box lunch). Members and non-members are welcome.

The faculty of Natural Resource Sciences at Thompson Rivers University will lead you through an elevational gradient highlighting the lower, middle and upper grassland zones and the unique species that are found within these ecosystems. We will explore some of the research projects that are underway trying to answer questions on climate change, carbon sequestration, hydrological changes and range management which occur within the Lac du Bois Grasslands. http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/lacdubois_grass/
