Indictable Offence Declaration

A professional Biologist is obligated under the College of Applied Biology Act to maintain a reputation for integrity.  A professional biologist must not engage in dishonourable or questionable conduct that casts doubt on the biologist’s professional integrity or competence, or bring the profession of applied biology into disrepute.

As stated in Schedule 3 sec. 8.3.2 of the Rules “The Registrar, or the Council may refuse an application of a person who has been convicted in the Province of British Columbia or elsewhere of an indictable offence as the case may be.”

Completion of this form is a required part of the application package and all applicants must complete this. For more information, please refer to the Indictable Offence Policy - Applicants. If you wish this form may be placed in a separate sealed envelope to ensure confidentiality
