Application Reassessment

Reassessment

If you were an Applicant prior to August 19, 2020

If your application was submitted to the College prior to August 19, 2020 and declined due to a deficiency(ies) and you 1) are within the timeframe allocated to you by the Registrar, 2) believe you have resolved the deficiency(ies) and 3) wish to be reassessed, you must do the following:

  1. Email the Regulatory Officer directly ([email protected]) stating you are requesting a reassessment and attach any required documents (e.g., reports, etc.) to your email.
  2. If you are sending official transcripts:
    • Digital/electronic transcripts are only accepted if they are accessed directly by the College of Applied Biology Regulatory Officer through a secure site offered by the granting institution or emailed directly to the Regulatory Officer by the granting institution.
    • Official transcripts should be mailed directly from all post-secondary institutions where you completed courses, including the institution(s) showing credentials granted, to:

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CREATE OR COMPLETE A NEW APPLICATION THROUGH YOUR PROFILE IN THE COLLEGE’S PORTAL.

The College will:

  1. Upload any documents including transcripts to your online profile in the College’s database;
  2. Reassess your application; and
  3. Notify you of the reassessment results. If your application is approved, you will be informed what steps you are required to complete to become registered (e.g., paying any required fees and completing any mandatory training requirements).

Timeframe for a reassessment may vary between 4 – 6 weeks.


Reassessment

If you were an Applicant after August 19, 2020

If your application was submitted to the College after August 19, 2020 through the College’s portal application system and declined due to a deficiency(ies) and you 1) are within the timeframe allocated to you by the Registrar, 2) believe you have resolved the deficiency(ies) and 3) wish to be reassessed, you must do the following:

  1. Apply for reassessment through the portal system and upload any documents required (e.g., reports, scientific communication).
  2. Email the Regulatory Officer directly ([email protected]) stating you are requesting a reassessment.
  3. If you are sending official transcripts:
    • Digital/electronic transcripts are only accepted if they are accessed directly by the College of Applied Biology Regulatory Officer through a secure site offered by the granting institution or emailed directly to the Regulatory Officer by the granting institution.
    • Official transcripts should be mailed directly from all post-secondary institutions where you completed courses, including the institution(s) showing credentials granted, to:
