Where a report has multiple authors and where the applicant is not the lead author the role of the applicant must be corroborated by the lead author or supervisor. This declaration states that the applicant had primary responsibility for one or more of the criteria listed below.
A professional report acceptable to the College must demonstrate the applicant’s ability to:
- Document methods of data collection and
- Summarize and present data in a coherent and logical manner
- Draft reports will not be accepted. All reports must be post diploma (or degree if applying in Stream 3), in English; Journal publications and theses must contain an English abstract. Post-graduate degree theses (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) on applied biology topics that have been accepted by the degree granting institution may be accepted as professional reports.
Where the applicant wants to use volunteer experience to contribute to their work experience requirements, the applicant must submit documentation by way of this form. The applicant must demonstrate a maximum of seven (7) months of volunteer experience practicing applied biology post university graduation within ten (10) years prior to application to the College.
