ABT Confidential Reference Form

An applicant for membership in the College of Applied Biology has selected you to provide a Confidential Reference in support of their application for Applied Biology Technician (ABT) status. An ABT is someone with a certificate in a specific practice area or a number of courses equal to or greater than 200 hours of academic training. Both types of applicants must have 1 year of work experience following completion of course work. The College also recognizes the skills and knowledge gained over a minimum of 3 years in a particular area of practice as meeting the requirements for the ABT category.

The Credentials Committee uses the references to assist in evaluating the applicant's character, integrity, work ethic, and competence, and to validate work history. You may provide a confidential reference if you have known the applicant for a minimum of 6 months. Please be fair and honest when completing this form.
