2014 College Conference & AGM: Agenda Released

Please note: this year’s AGM will be a breakfast meeting held at 8AM prior to the Conference. All are welcome to attend, but advance registration is required. Please contact the College if you are interested in attending the AGM only.
The 2014 College Conference and AGM will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel on March 7th, 2014. This year’s conference will continue with the theme of Policy and Legislation Update Sessions (PLUS3), but will focus in particular on federal regulatory changes and the practice of applied biology.
Confirmed speakers for this year’s conference include Robert Steedman, Chief Environment Officer of the National Energy Board; Mark Downs, Chief Executive of the Society of Biology (UK); Lisa Walls, Regional Director of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency; Ken Cossey, Director of Lands at Songhees Nation; and Adam Kreek, Olympic Gold Medalist and motivational speaker.
Note to College members: A total of 9 CPD points can be claimed for attending the full Conference and AGM; 7 points can be claimed for attending the Conference.

Conference participants are eligible for a special traditional guestroom rate of $129/night at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel if bookings are made before February 18th, 2014.
