College recruiting erosion and sediment control subject matter experts for guideline development
The College of Applied Biology is developing a practice guideline for erosion and sediment control (ESC) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC. Under the Professional Governance Act, both regulatory bodies have a commitment to establish, monitor, and enforce standards of practice and to enhance the quality of practice. This is an exciting step toward collaboration between regulatory bodies to develop Professional Practice Guidelines.
The initial phase of this development for the College requires the creation of an ESC working group, where a subset of interested subject matter experts will be involved in the co-authoring of this practice guideline. The College is looking for eight (8) registrants to be involved in this project.
If you are interested in being a part of this project, please send your resume and a brief description of your qualifications and experience to the Manager of Registrations and Compliance, Cam Dexter, by emailing [email protected] no later than October 15, 2021.
