Informational Event Set for Prince George
Join the College from 5:30pm-9pm on September 19 at the Ramada Plaza Prince George for an informational event -- entry $25 and includes complementary appetizers and a beverage ticket
The College is hosting an information event in the Cedar Room at the Ramada Plaza Prince George from 5:30pm-9pm on September 19. The event will include updates on several College projects, including practice and elections.
The evening will feature presentations of the latest updates on the Professional Governance Act, especially as they relate to Council elections, as well as initiatives to bring the regulation of the profession into compliance with the PGA.
A selection of hot and cold appetizers will be available during the session and there will bar service. Members of College Council and senior staff will be in attendance and ready to answer your College-related questions.
The entry fee is $25. Doors open at 5:30pm and programming will begin at 6pm with a welcome speech from College President Brian Clark.
Presentations and opportunities for discussion will include:
- Professional Governance Act update
- Scope of practice and the pathway to practice rights
- Update on credentialling, including entrance standards and credentialling methods
- Executive and Council Q&A and networking
