Reminder: Nominations for 2021 College Council elections close next week

Nominations for the 2021 College Council elections close at 4:30pm PST on January 28, 2021.

The College is seeking good communicators and team players that are interested in running for Council. Councillors contribute to the applied biology profession by upholding the public interest while further developing their skills in areas such as governance, financial literacy and strategy.

All practicing members (RPBio, RBTech, and ABT) in good standing are eligible to sit on Council.

Positions to be elected this election year include:

• Vice President* 
• Councillors**

*The registrant whom is elected to the Vice President position on a three-year term shall act as the Vice President in the first year of their term, as President in their second year, and as Past President in their third year.
**Two positions available: the candidate receiving the most votes for Councillor will be elected to the three-year term and the candidate with the second-most votes for Councillor will be elected to the two-year term.

Nomination forms must be submitted using the upload tool found here before the deadline to be eligible.

Please consider submitting your application in advance of the deadline in case the Nominations Committee identifies any errors or omissions: applications found to be incomplete after the deadline will not be considered.
