Registrant Directory

The College of Applied Biologists (the College or CAB) is responsible for registering and regulating British Columbia's applied biology professionals. As part of the College’s authority granted by the Government of British Columbia under the Professional Governance Act and as per the Office of the Superintendent of Professional Governance (OSPG) Guidance on the Register the College is authorized to collect information pertaining to College registrants and make it publicly available on the Registrant Directory.

The information in the register is provided by registrants. It is the responsibility of registrants to ensure that the information that they provide is accurate and up to date.

Anyone who is listed as being a registrant prior to 2003 was a member of the Association of Professional Biologists (APB) and became a registrant of the College when the College was created in 2003 under the College of Applied Biology Act, which was repealed and replaced February 5, 2021 by the Professional Governance Act and the Applied Biologists Regulation.

If you are unable to find an individual registrant in the College’s Registrant Directory, please contact the Regulatory Officer via email at [email protected] with their full name, professional designation (Registered Biology Technologist, Registered Professional Biologist or Applied Biology Technician) and employer if known.
