2014 College Conference
The College's third annual conference on the theme of Policy and Legislative Update Sessions held on March 8th attracted nearly 230 participants, 65 of whom joined the live web broadcast while the remainder gathered at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond.
The Conference featured regulatory updates from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, the National Energy Board, and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. Presentations representing First Nations, local and provincial government perspectives highlighted the implications of recent federal regulatory changes concerning the environment and natural resources; and two panels explored the topics of oil and gas regulation; and the past, present, and future of the College of Applied Biology.
